Our research field is so-called quantum information processing including

quantum cryptography, quantum computation, and quantum multi-party

protocols. We are engaged not only in theoretical research (general) but

also in experimental research (quantum optics). As the fundamental res-

earch, we study entanglement manipulation, quantum control/processing,

and quantum optics theory. Our background mainly includes laser physics,

material physics, and optical communications, but we would like to lay st-

ress on the importance of collaboration with a variety of communities such

as information science, communication engineering, statistical physics, and

atom optics researchers.
